jrobcon is our knowledge-based control platform, capable of taking on almost any automation task based on sensor and actuator input. Whether it's a classic manufacturing line, a driverless transport system, or a mobile robot. Jrobcon controls autonomous systems so they operate independently, safely, and in cooperation as a team.

The platform is deliberately industry-neutral and infinitely scalable: the same software architecture underpins autonomous mobile systems in logistics and production just as much as assistive systems in care, as with our robot Demi. By adapting the sensors and actuators to the task at hand, jrobcon grows with every new field of application.

Care Robotics

Demi: activation and connection in care

Demi is our stationary assistive robot for use in care, for people with care needs. Whether due to age, illness, injury, or other limitations. With a rotating head, voice input and output, and image recognition. Demi engages with the person in front of it, recognises faces and identifies objects in its surroundings. Movable arms enable simple movement exercises like clapping or ball-throwing. Low-barrier activation that challenges people both physically and mentally, and noticeably eases the daily workload of care staff.

Agentic Commerce: when AI agents shop for us

Shopping online often takes real effort. Searching, comparing, deciding, a forgotten password, or an unclear payment method. Agentic commerce simplifies this process by turning AI agents into personal shopping assistants that act autonomously on behalf of a person or a business. Retail has evolved from classic e-commerce on a computer, through mobile m-commerce and social commerce, to conversational commerce, where people shop in dialogue with AI systems. The next step is agentic commerce, where AI carries out purchases entirely on its own.

Agentic Commerce

An example makes this tangible. Through hyperpersonalisation, an AI agent knows a household's preferences and compares not only price, delivery time and reviews, but also individual needs, such as preferred brands, ready meals, regionally made products, or the specific requirements of someone who needs care. It scans the internet in real time, identifies the best offer, and, once a delivery address and payment method are stored, will soon place the order entirely on its own.

Research & early-stage development

At jrob we're exploring the technical foundations for agentic commerce including interfaces such as the Model Context Protocol and suitable infrastructure for settlement and trust, for example based on blockchain. This topic is currently in an research phase at jrob. Feel free to contact us.
